Pros It is a realiable high quality camera that will last you a long time.
Cons Sometimes it is hard to get the camera to focus to take a picture.
Recommended it? Yes

I've had this camera for about three years now and it is still in perfect condition! The image quality is still spectaclar and it still functions just as well as when I first got it. My camera has been through a lot from multiple vacations and adventures to being dropped couple times... This is an excelent camera. It takes great pictures, even motion & is very easy to use. I would suggest an extra battery though because it gives you very little warning before it dies. Read full review »

Pros Easy to Use, Lightweight, Great Design
Recommended it? Yes

This is a hardy little camera that takes pretty nice pictures. Don't expect professional photo-journalist quality pics, but for everyday use this one has all that you should need. It will take a licking, as I've dropped mine many times on all sorts of very hard and/or uneven surfaces,... Helpful? 1 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Easy to Use, Excellent Picture Quality, Lightweight
Recommended it? Yes

The best point-n-shoot camera I have owned. It is large enough to be easy to handle and small enough to carry in a shirt pocket. Very versital, I have used this camera for macro shots of bugs and small flowers, broad shots such as cloud formations, action shots of kids at play, and more. The... Read full review »

We got this for everyday use as a family camera. This takes great pictures and the battery life is great. I would reccomend buying an additional memory card, ours came with a 32GB? i think and it was definentely not enough, but that was the only down side. I also love how easy it is to transfer... Pros small in size, LCD visible in sunny outdoor condition, up to 1GB movies
Cons minimal manual configuration options, only 3x optical zoom, not a perfect macro mode

I love my IXUS 750 camera. It is a perfect digital camera for holidays. Small enough in size to carry even in your pocket, good picture quality and a really quick response time. One of the most reliable compact point and shoot cameras with a low price. Read full review »

Pros color accent, durable, stylish, has an excellent battery, easy to charge, fun to use
Cons none that i can think of! i haven't had any problems with it yet
Recommended it? Yes

This camera is very durable. Mine has been sat on, thrown around, dropped, and crushed. And still manages to work perfectly. This is a perfect camera for teenagers, especially ones that have a streak for breaking things. This camera also has an affect called color accent, when you are taking... Read full review »

Shabby, shabby, shabby......

Pros Compact, decent battery life.
Cons Workmanship, doesn't remember my previous settings and tech support is a joke.
Recommended it? No

After going round and round with tech support I've given up and will stick with my trusty old kodak easy share. It's a 5 meg but is more precise and the pictures are just as clear. Let's face it....with all of the thousands of layoffs we can expect quality control to go down the tubes in every... Read full review »

Pros HUGE LCD
Easy to use
Digital Zoom
Long battery...
Cons No image stabilization
bulky
no view finder
Recommended it? Yes

This is a great entry level camera. Canon's are easy to use and typically have great features. Unfortunately, this model doesn't have the image stabilization. Therefore, a bunch of pictures from a once in a lifetime moment on a recent vacation came out blurry.
Battery life is great and the LCD... Read full review »

Just once, to buy and enjoy a quality digital camera.

byricker671 Mar 3, 2009
1 Helpfuls 2 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Decent battery life.
Cons Picture quality and reliability.
Recommended it? No

Bought for macro pics of expensive antique bottles to sell at auction. When set on a level counter or held level to take a full length shot, I always have to adjust image to the left in my photoshop elements app, sometimes up to 1 degree, which is very noticeable in macro mode. I called tech... Read full review »

I love this camera! It gives great clear pictures that you will be proud to show off. Compact digital camera, but provides photos at the quality of an SLR. It's small enough to carry everywhere you go. I personally carry it in my purse at all times and it is very lightweight. The battery life is... Read full review »

Pros Terrific little digital camera.
Cons none for our family.

This is one sleek-looking little camera that my parents bought about a year ago when they finally gave into the idea of purchasing a new digital camera. This is the first digital camera they ever bought and the one they chose is the Canon PowerShot SD750. This digital camera has a metal body... Read full review »

Pros Value, quality, durability, features, lens quality, 3" LCD, everything.
Cons No image stabilization, battery lasts about 230 shots before requiring re-charged.

This camera is small but comfortable in your hand although I recommend using the wrist strap to avoid dropping it. It has a top of the line camera processor, excellent color and clarity. Provided you have steady hands or utilize a tripod the image quality is near flawless. There are many manual... Read full review »

5 Helpfuls 6 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Compact, large screen, easy to use, fast picture taking
Cons no manual features

I have always used Canon cameras and found they always put out a quality product. I bought a SD200 back in 2002 and it still worked great but thought it was finally time to get an upgrade. Decided on the Canon Powershot SD750 over the SD1000 only because of the bigger and have not been... Read full review »

So far so Great!

bywisespender08 Jul 26, 2008
7 Helpfuls 8 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Quick Transfer of files. Durable Small
Cons Way too many manuals, with way too many pages. I didn't bother reading them.
Recommended it? Yes

I've had this camera for 2+ months and so far my only complaint is that I take so many pictures that I don't know what to do with them all!

The Canon Powershot was a gift from my husband for Mother's day. I am the family memory keeper and gave up on my previous digital camera because of... Read full review »

Canon's Digital Elph digicams have been very popular with consumers since the first digital elph (the S100) was introduced in 2000 and the new SD750/ Digital IXUS 75 won't do anything to change that. Canon's model numbering (the SD750 is the "big brother" of the almost identical SD1000) is a bit... Read full review »
