The Canon EOS Rebel G is one of the easiest SLR cameras to use on the market today.

A few years ago, my mother-in-law told me she wanted to buy a good quality camera that would last her a lifetime. As much as I wanted to tell her about some cameras that would be really hard to use, I... Read full review »

I'm not a professional photographer, but I take more snapshots than anyone I know. This includes friends with newborns, which must be saying something!

At some point I realized that I needed more than a point and shoot camera. I was tired of walking backwards into walls for wide-angles of... Read full review »

For about as long as I can remember I have owned a regular classic style point and shoot camera.
It was all good if you had the right batteries and were in the right situation- mostly being in a well lit area. I seemed to always have issues with batteries dying rather quickly and the camera not... Read full review »

So the marketing people of Canon corporation sat down one day and said "we'll make the camera that everybody - amateur or pro - needs to own". Does such a beast exist? Sure, let's think about it:

The amateur photographer needs a relatively cheap body (to manage to fit a selection of decent... Read full review »

Last spring I took my trusty, old Canon AE-1 Program camera in to a camera shop for (hopefully) a repair. The camera was approximately 16 years old and had "grown up" with my three children. I was informed by the salesperson that the camera could most likely be repaired (starting fee $100),... Read full review »

I bought a Rebel G kit when I decided to switch from old manual SLR cameras to the modern ones. I traded two old bodies in for this kit and paid $200 on top of it. I can say that I don't regret it. Let me tell you what Rebel G can do.

I has automatic focusing, however, how fast it focuses... Read full review »
