Nice all around lens
This lens has some faults but with any super zoom give and take is the name of the game. My only complaint is the vignetting but it is easy to correct in PSE-5 or NX.

Solid feel and full control in any light
At 8Mp and low noise this camera performs right at to just below maximum resolution of most Canon L series lens. At 1800 to 1900 LW/PH you need excellent glass to take full advantage of the sensor/processor. Used with a F2.8 lens the viewfinder is bright and focusing crisp. I see no reason to wait... FANTASTIC QUALITY! WORTH EVERY PENNY!
