Each fixture includes individually contoured reflectors to ensure the maximum amount of lighting intensity reaches your tank. The sleek, low-profile design actually dissipates heat away from your aquarium. Cool running performance ballasts and internal fans keep things cool and efficient, while independent lighting controls are included to operate the full complement of T5 HO 10,000K & 460nm bulbs in a day/night cycle. Each system also includes a splash lends and docking mounts. The 48 in. model includes 3-10,000K T5 HO SlimPaq bulbs and 3-T5 HO SlimPaq actinic 460nm bulbs. SlimPaq bulbs offer 50% more output to ordinary lighting systems and a longer lifespan.

The Current USA Nova Extreme Pro T5 aquarium lighting fixture is for reef aquariums. With six 54 watt T5 bulbs (which have greater output watt per watt than competing technologies), and individually contoured reflectors, the Nova Extreme Pros have greater output than almost all non-metal halide reef aquarium lights. The relatively low heat output of the T5s along with the dual fans will keep this fixture running cool and minimize heat transfer to your tank.
