Too Messy!
When I replaced my Toshiba grind-and-brew with a Mr. Coffee,which doesn't grind the beans, I had a 2-lb bag of coffee beans that needed to be ground up before I could make some coffee. Grinder that keeps on working and working
I first bought this grinder at Walmart and didn't flinch when it was $30, a bit more than it's competitors. I took it home, put the coffee beans in, and away it went. Perfect!

Consider Only If...
I had been using a Krups blade grinder for years and wanted the grind control offered by a burr grinder but had always wondered if the prices I had seen ($50 - $150) were worth it.

Don't waste your money!
I just threw mine in the garbage. What a piece of junk.
1. You have to hold your finger on the switch for it to run. Be prepared for a sore finger.
2. It is slow.
3. It is loud.
4. It clogs easily.
5. You have to shake it to keep the beans flowing.

Great little grinder!
I bought this little burr type coffee grinder for only a few dollars at a second-hand store a couple of years ago. I have put it through some use and am very satisfied with it, even with its shortcomings.

good machine, wish I had a manual
I was given this Salton cm4 and am impressed with it's simplicity. It seems to do what it promises, although I find it louder than my other grinder. What's with the rubber gasket behind the bin? seems to fall off a lot.
