An Acquired Taste - The CAO Samba
C.A.O. Brazilia Samba
Manufactured at Nick Perdomo's Cigar Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua (Tabacalera Perdomo). Perdomo also produces other cigars for Nashville, Tennessee-based C.A.O. International, Inc., including the special anniversary release of cigars that were banded as the...

C.A.O. Brazilia Samba
If there is one cigar that I can say I have become addicted to recently, it is C.A.O.'s newest line, the Brazilia. This cigar is not for everyone as it is not the mild and light flavored cigar that seems to be the most popular. I, however, actually prefer the very strong cigars that remind you that... CAO Brazilia Samba ? It?s Like Carnival In Your Mouth! Did I Just Type That?
I tried my first Brazilia almost a year ago when I was going through the CAO line and wanted to try something different. I asked the clerk at the shop where I purchased the cigar if the wrapper was a maduro to which he replied "do you think it's a maduro?" Not exactly a reassuring response and I... Read full review »
An Truly Exotic Cigar
I finally got a chance to smoke a C.A.O. Brazilia cigar yesterday. I had ordered a sampler from Thompson Cigar CO., and the cigar about which I was most excited was the C.A.O. Brazilia (Gol!). I was looking forward to branching out from maduro cigars, which it seems are either 'wintergreen bombs'... Read full review »
Great at Twice the Price!
I recently decided to purchase the CAO Brazilia Samba to see what all of the hype was about. I enjoy trying new cigars out, but always seem to migrate back to Montecristo or H. Upmann. Thanks to this wonderful stick, however, I think I have found a reason to switch up! CAO cigars have always shown... Read full review »
C.A.O. Brazilia, A trip to the Darkside
It's been a little while since I reviewed any C.A.O material, however I'm happy to report that they're alive and well, still built in Nick Perdomo's Esteli factory and still packed with plenty of flavor. This review is for the C.A.O. Brazilia SAMBA - a full-size belicoso with a fantastic knockout... Read full review »
CAO Brazilia - Play Ball!
Pregame:
Giants vs Montreal. Schmitty on the mound, the CAO Brazilia in hand. Sliding it out of the plastic wrapper, the unmistakable aroma of spice punches you in the nose. This cigar has come to play.
A slight angle cut with the guillotine yields very smooth, light, pre-fire draw;...

If you want "umph!" try this
This cigar is not for the weak hearted. It is full bodied and packs a punch, I would take my time with this puppy. The flavor is very good: somewhat peppery with hints of cedar and spice in the background (first comes the peppery flavor, then a hint of cedar and spice afterwards). The draw was... CAO Brazilia Samba - Maduro
CAO Brazilia Samba cigars present a vivid, complex-smoking blend of full-bodied Nicaraguan tobaccos seamlessly rolled in extra-flavorful, dark Brazilian wrappers. Notes of cedar and exotic spices dance on the palate for a long, flavorful finish with an inviting, sweet floral aroma. A "must-smoke!"
