Pros Rich full bodied flavor in a perfect package.
Cons Too rich for the average smoker.
Recommended it? Yes

If there is one cigar that I can say I have become addicted to recently, it is C.A.O.'s newest line, the Brazilia. This cigar is not for everyone as it is not the mild and light flavored cigar that seems to be the most popular. I, however, actually prefer the very strong cigars that remind you that... Pros Excellent construction, even burn, rich full bodied flavor, smooth.
Cons None
Recommended it? Yes

I tried my first Brazilia almost a year ago when I was going through the CAO line and wanted to try something different. I asked the clerk at the shop where I purchased the cigar if the wrapper was a maduro to which he replied "do you think it's a maduro?" Not exactly a reassuring response and I... Read full review »

An Truly Exotic Cigar

Pros intriguing and amazing exotic flavor, perfect draw
Cons expensive and hard to find
Recommended it? Yes

I finally got a chance to smoke a C.A.O. Brazilia cigar yesterday. I had ordered a sampler from Thompson Cigar CO., and the cigar about which I was most excited was the C.A.O. Brazilia (Gol!). I was looking forward to branching out from maduro cigars, which it seems are either 'wintergreen bombs'... Read full review »

Pros Wonderful color, rich texture, and superb consistency.
Cons A bit strong for the newer smoker.
Recommended it? Yes

I recently decided to purchase the CAO Brazilia Samba to see what all of the hype was about. I enjoy trying new cigars out, but always seem to migrate back to Montecristo or H. Upmann. Thanks to this wonderful stick, however, I think I have found a reason to switch up! CAO cigars have always shown... Read full review »

C.A.O. Brazilia, A trip to the Darkside

bynick1326 Oct 18, 2002

Pros Wickedly dark and rich, burns cool with intense flavors that build throughout the smoke
Cons Draw's a bit firm, due to a tighter and difficult roll - still wonderful!
Recommended it? Yes

It's been a little while since I reviewed any C.A.O material, however I'm happy to report that they're alive and well, still built in Nick Perdomo's Esteli factory and still packed with plenty of flavor. This review is for the C.A.O. Brazilia SAMBA - a full-size belicoso with a fantastic knockout... Read full review »

Pros Diversity of flavor, quality construction
Cons Perhaps too strong for most

Pregame:
Giants vs Montreal. Schmitty on the mound, the CAO Brazilia in hand. Sliding it out of the plastic wrapper, the unmistakable aroma of spice punches you in the nose. This cigar has come to play.

A slight angle cut with the guillotine yields very smooth, light, pre-fire draw;... Read full review »

Pros great flavors, nice light aroma for a full body cigar
Cons bad burn, very uneven
Recommended it? Yes

This cigar is not for the weak hearted. It is full bodied and packs a punch, I would take my time with this puppy. The flavor is very good: somewhat peppery with hints of cedar and spice in the background (first comes the peppery flavor, then a hint of cedar and spice afterwards). The draw was...
