I originally rented Toy Story 2 with high hopes of it being a big hit since those characters are well known in my home but was kind of disappointed. You have to be old enough to read to be able to take the clues that Rex the dinosaur gives out. If not, expect your child to call you to keep reading them. My child also had to call me to help her do this or that as it wasn't easy enough for her to do...she's five. Another thing that got to me was that it was just one of those games that got me dizzy just watching it with the camera angle swinging around as it did. Then, one thing you must do is find Bo Peeps sheep, and when you are in the kitchen with her. All the while you're there, all you can hear is Bo Peep saying "hey buuuuzzz!", over, and over, and over again. It's worse than a broken record, at least with that you like the song you might be trying to play! Everyone repeats themselves until you complete whatever task you are there to do...and the sounds of someone repeating phrases just get on my nerves after awhile. While my daughter played with it for a bit she too quickly tired of it not being able to do half of the tasks needed to move on. When given the choice between Toy Story 2 with those lovable characters she knows, or Spyro the dragon, a little known dragon she chose Spyro. I think this game is best suited to kids of reading age and that are better able to maneuver Buzz around. Also someone who doesn't get nauseated while watching the screens whip by!
