ER6 reading in rangefinder means nice doorstop
Pros
Scan feature allows user to measure distance while using rangefinder like pair of binoculars.
Cons
Bushnell needs to post that when ER6 is displayed: ranfinder is considered useless.

Purchased Bushnell yardage pro 1 1/2 years ago and recently I was going to use it and the LCD would display only ER6. The rangefinder has never been in any rain, inclement weather or hot conditions. It has always been gently used for siting in rifles and finding bow target distances. I have tried to find out what the ER6 reading means only to find others in the same situation as myself. Bushnell has no trouble shooting guides on website indicating the ER1 display. When dealing with customer service they want item sent in along with $10.00 for shipping and handling. The verdict of the ER6 reading is that the $179.00 original cost rangefinder now will cost $10.00 S/H fee plus $235.00 for repair with no-explanation of what was wrong with item.
