What a great telescope... NOT!

Pros Looks great in the box
Cons well lets just say like 'halo' said it's moronic, although not the operator the telescope.
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  This product functions at it's lowest possible level. Avoid the problems with this item by avoiding the telescope, avoid saying to your wife 'man what a beautiful night sky.
"Wow!!!" was all I could say when I opened my present, I was stunned and totally gratified that my wife spent her hard earned money on a telescope for me. It was something I had wanted all my life but never revealed to anyone. Here was, this quite sophisticated looking optical beauty; silver, sleek and yes even sexy in sort of way an old 65 mustang is. Well my sexy beauty sort of kicked her john to the curb when she was done with me. I needed a mental viagra pill to re-inflate my ego and put me back in the game. I searched over the instructions for any usable information, some was included. I searched their website for some usable information again, some but even less was to be sifted from that pile of rubble. I began to understand what it must have felt like to be a 49'er panning for gold in a kids sand lot. I began to think , well Jim just take the thing outside and get going, you must be making things too complicated. If you take a big brick and smash the computer you'll be fine. The moon is the only thing I can honestly say is clearly defined. The planet Saturn is as undistinguishable as all the other planets and stars. The optics suck, the whole thing sucks but I lie every chance I get when my lovely wife of 27 years asks me how my telescope is. I just keep telling her that it's too cold or the bugs are biting and I change the subject.
