Where, oh where can my Bushnell's be....

A few years back I had an Uncle who pass away. As we were going thru his possessions...sorting and tossing...I came upon a set of Bushnell Legend Binoculars. These were obviously just bought...still in the box with the papers. They were too nice to just toss , so I took them to our house in Mexico. There is always something to see there!
These binoculars were very easy to use and really brought far away objects right up under your nose. They were so handy to have around, and I found myself wishing that I had bought some way before getting this pair.
At Easter of 1999 we had our kids and their friends down to the house. These binoculars got used quite alot. Mainly on the Dolphins and Pilot Whales that swam by right in front of our house.
After everyone left...the binoculars were no where to be found. All that was there was an empty case.
This year at Easter, we were at the house again. We had a big wind come up that lasted for a few days....and ended up moving alot of sand around. On the 4th. day...once the winds had stopped...I saw a black round object sticking out of the sand. You got it...there were my Bushnell Binoculars!!
AND THEY WORKED FINE!!!
I've always heard that Bushnell was a good product....but after laying in the sand...and the heat(up to 120*), and the humidity, and the cold (down to 37*) FOR A FULL YEAR !! Well, you can bet that the next time I need to buy binoculars, THEY WILL BE BUSHNELLS!!!
