I recently purchased a V2 as a replacement for the larger Bushnell Rangefinder and I am 100% satisfied. It is smaller, has a better case that you leave unzipped during your round as it shuts magnetically, and the case conveniently hooks onto your bag. It's tough on batteries. We call it "RADAR LOVE" after the Golden Earring one-hit song. You sometimes cannot get a reading in low light or directly into the sun.
