Boo for Bunn
I'm amazed at how bad this unit is after reading other reivews that raved about it. For one thing, how hard is it to make a machine that doesn't turn itself off after an hour so the coffee left in the pot doesn't burn to a crisp?

Makes Great Coffee, Carafe requires constant cleaning.
This is my second Bunn. My first was an old as dirt brewer that I bought cheap, just to make sure I would be happy with this type of brewing system. I was, so now I made the jump to a new brewer.

Too many problems to recommend
After roughly a year of ownership the short review of this maker is that it's too difficult to get good coffee out of it. It passes coffee through the grounds too quickly and you have to compensate by adding more coffee or grinding it finer.

We decided on the Bunn after going through several coffeemakers (Braun, Mr. Coffee, Melitta) which had timers and hotplates. Coffee Disaster!
We loved this machine at first. It makes great coffee in no time. But then it started spewing coffee and coffee grounds out of the filter holder. We're not sure why.
