The Bottom Line:
good handy machine for the price. if you love to stitch then this is the machine for you.
this little machine is very easy to use and comes with so many stitching options to choose from. from the time i bought it i have not been able to lay my hands off it. everyday i try out different stitches . i still haven't tried them all. it is so exciting and fun to use this machine. i am not a pro as far as stitching is concerned but i do love to work with fabric- stitching clothes for the family. I am so happy with this machine I am going to recommend it to everyone who loves to sew !! My aunt was looking for a good sewing machine after hers' conked out. So I guess I would present her one on her birthday. Stitching is her passion. In fact when the machine first arrived she helped me learn how to thread the needle and the bobbin. Her machine felt very heavy and sluggish compared to this one.
I tried making a button hole with this machine and boy was it easy !! i could not imagine I could ever make a button hole. I always found it so difficult, but this machine made me do it in a jiffy.
For such a lightweight machine,it works pretty well with heavier fabric. We made some drapes and euro sham covers. They really came out well. I changed the fabric of all the toss cushions in my living room. Just by doing that the whole room has a new look !! I am so happy I did not have to buy new toss pillows. They aren't exactly inexpensive. I plan to do a lot more stitching and thereby save money I would have otherwise spent to buy new stuff. My husband is very happy and so am I.
