Brother SE-270D Computerized Sewing Machine

I bought this machine and it worked fine. I decided to try to upload pes files I purchased from the internet, like the book and brother website says it can do. That was a big mistake. All it did was make massive balls of floss on the back of the material and backing. I was very annoyed and brought the machine back to Wal-mart where I was given another one. I came home tried it out and it was even WORSE... it would not even embroider the fonts that were included with the machine!

I have read all the instruction from cover to cover. I am doing everything correct. As I said the first one worked fine until I used my PED-Basic to import other designs, then it never worked again. The second one never worked... I am Annoyed and very dissatisfied!!!!

I will be bringing yet another machine back. This is SUPPOSED TO BE A STRAIGHT FORWARD BEGINNER MACHINE. The directions are simple and they work and get the machine to do move the needle, but the problem is all it does is create a massive ball of thread.

I feel many will quickly outgrow this machine if they are not satisfied with what is built in. Forget trying to import anything else.... It is not worth the time of frustration.
