The best color laser MFC on the market for under $1,000
The Brother MFC-9840cdw is the current top of the line Brother color MFC device. MFC stands for Multi-Function Center which means a device capable of printing, scanning, copying and faxing. Another term is AIO or all in one, which means about the same thing.

Powerful all-in-one, but big & heavy
This printer does just about everything. Full color printing, full color DOUBLE-SIDED printing and scanning. Auto-document feeder that can print/copy/scan double-sided. Integrated ethernet and WiFi. Printing from USB thumb drives (there's a convenient port on the front).

No legitimate warranty
I have a 4 month old unit. Paper started to jam error code C. I call brother customer service,they are very helpful and courteous.
