Brother MFC-420CN All-In-One InkJet Printer

First of all this review is going to be quite different from the others I have read. I am going to start by saying that the other reviews on this site are quite accurate to a point, it is a ink hog but the cartridges are refillable and if you use bulk ink refill kits I can assure you it is one of the cheapest to maintain I have ever seen in fact this printer could very easily be set up to use a continuous inking system (try and find that in anything else under $300) a continuous inking system makes it ideal for a small office or as in my case making lots of photo layouts so costumers can pick the ones they want for a final print or making contact sheets. Also a quick online search will show that new ink cartridges for this printer only cost around $5.00 try and buy one for any other printer for that price.
Now about the print quality I paid $100.00 for this printer at Wal-Mart considering all that this printer can do is a steal the print quality is as expected for a printer of this price range this printer excels at printing small photos and fine text in fact my $500.00 hp printer does not print text as well as this printer.
The software is very easy to install and use and can be customized in various ways to suite anyone's needs (win xp pro). I highly recommend this printer for anyone looking to buy a printer under $225.00.
