looks nice, but i can't understand the instructions?
I am just starting sewing and i bought this machine. the lady at Wal-mart made it sounds easy, got it home couldn't understand how to thread it.. worked on it for hours and gave up. still don't know how to thread it... Read full review »
Nice Machine But Poor Instructions
The Brother LS-2125 appears to be a very capable and well constructed machine for basic sewing needs. However, it took me several hours to get started due to some critical oversights in the owners manual. The instructions are provided in three languages... each of which does not properly explain... Works fine for me
I went into Walmart with the intent of buying a different machine, one which I had already seen reviews on. Unfortunately they did not have the one I wanted so I bought this one, really not knowing anything about it. When I came home I looked it up on this site and a few others ones and got nervous... For occasional use only
This sewing machine is for people who have once a year projects. NOT for regular use!! Handles badly. You would be better off paying a little bit more for a much better machine. I would recommend Kenmore for medium users. Read full review »
Finally, it works well.
Once I got it threaded it made an excellent stitch and ran smoothly. But I was disappointed in the threading instructions and would avoid this machine if you haven't threaded or used a sewing machine before. Read full review »
Hate it!
I bought this machine at Walmart because it was cheap. You get what you pay for! I would never buy this brand again! I had nothing but trouble with the bobbin. It kept falling out. Read full review »
not for beginners
I would not suggest this one for beginners or even beginner to medium users. Very difficult to thread and use. It was not very much fun for grandma to teach her 10 year old granddaughter to sew because it was so difficult to thread we never got to sew. Read full review »
