I purchased the Brother HL-2140 laser printer, refurbished, through Staples.com for $80 in September 2009. I bought a new toner for it on Tuesday. Horrible printer. Avoid!
After I printed about 100 pages with it, it started jamming paper like crazy. Then it made some weird noice and stopped printing displaying all the lights. That is a new printer I bought! Crap! Nice, Cheap Printer with a minor quirk
This is the first laser printer I have ever purchased and am overall very satisfied with it. Much faster and more cost effective per page than an inkjet that constantly runs out of ink every few months (dries up quickly).
