good value for price!
I bought this machine to have as a secondary sewing machine. I already have a beautiful metal antique machine (also a Brother, but it looks like those old timey Singers and is form the 50's). My newest love!!
Let me start by saying I have owned a basic brother machine for 5 years and it's never really done a good job. I struggled a lot with tension and knotting, etc. I sucked it up because it was a gift from my husband. It replaced a 1900's singer, the old black and gold kind, that I got at an auction... I bought this machine about a week and a half ago after my Singer's bobbin case refused to stay in while sewing. I sew as a side business so I needed one that worked immediately. This Brother is my third machine over about 15 years.
