Great Serger for the non-professional
Pros
Easy to thread, Easy to use
Cons
Removing one needle is not easy. Rolled hems only work well on certain fabrics.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
This is a great product for the advanced home sewer. Definitely worth the money. A great addition for any home sewer.
Pros: Great serger. Does everything that the non-professional could need. Easy to use, easy to set up, does not require prior serger experience. Cutting blade does not need to be sharpened frequently. Deals with heavy weight fabrics without any issues. Easy to thread. Sews very quickly.
Cons: Removing one needle only is difficult as a single nut holds both needles in place. Losing the screw removal tool would require the purchase of a set of hex wrenches to be able to remove the needles. Rolled hems work well on some fabrics but not on others and weight does not seem to be a determining factor.
Overall a very good quality machine. Professionals may wish to consider something more 'feature rich' but for home sewers this can't be beat.
