When I got my new Palm Treo 650, I knew that I had to get a hands-free set to go with it (they're required in the state of NJ). But as opposed to my old phone, the Treo has Bluetooth technology, so I was able to look at the wireless headsets. I'd always disliked the earbuds that I had for my... Read full review »

Jabra BT250V

As many of you know who have read my few reviews, I like to use a product for awhile before reviewing it. I have had this Blue Tooth earpiece for awhile, and I think I can give it a more concise review.

I have had a Verizon cell phone for about 4 years now, and... Read full review »

Can't Keep It in My Ear

bykarow Sep 13, 2007

Pros inexpensive
Cons uncomfortable, poor sound quality

I purchased this device after I lost my Plantronics headset at a sporting event recently. I've been using is regularly for two weeks now, and I have three beefs with it:

1. The ear bud (the bit the actually goes in my ear) is so big that it isn't comfortable. It feels more like an ear... Read full review »

I have been with Cingular (formerly Bellsouth Mobility) since hurricane Andrew and the need for a cellular phone to deal with rebuilding my home. I recently traded in my LG L1200 phone for the new Motorola Razr V3 simply because the phone was slim and easy to slip in the pocket.

However,... Read full review »

Jabra BT250 - Not so good in the long run, but overall, better than most.....

byBadtzGirl Dec 23, 2007

Pros Exceptional sound quality.
Cons Poor fit, poor battery life, battery is useless after 6 months.
Recommended it? No

This was my first Bluetooth headset, and I bought it only after doing extensive research. Rated highly on CNet and elsewhere on the net, I decided to give it a try. At about $70 I felt it was a good buy, as there were very few headsets made with this style 'over the ear' as such.

Purchased this Jabra on Nov 05. So far it has not really failed me. I have tried a few others before and they were just awful.

My first car you can hear just about everything. From wind to road drive it was impossible to talk. I had a hard time even talking on the phone itself.

Clear sound, very reliable...what wireless headsets should be!

bySimianFox Jan 1, 2006

Pros Comfortable, clear sound quality, reliable, easy-to-use.
Cons Buttons take some getting used-to, a little expensive.

I've been using the Jabra BT250v for more than 6 months now, and it has been incredibly reliable.

DESIGN:
The headset has been well designed as it sits atop your ear (left or right) comfortably. Just orient the ear piece in the direction of the ear you prefer. The segment that... Read full review »

The ups slightly outweigh the downs

Pros Comfortable, once adapted; good audio and volume in both directions; inexpensive
Cons Intermittent RF choppiness, people with small ears probably won't like it.

I finally got a Bluetooth capable phone last year, the Nextel/Blackberry 7100i. Not too long after, I picked up a Jabra BT110 off of eBay (for, like, $20), and it worked out pretty well for me. It was, though, a bit too prone to room noise problems, because the mic is so far back.

So, I... Read full review »

Best bluetooth headset yet

Pros One handed design, great sound, great battery.
Cons Sensitive to wind noise, no mute button. No iGO tip.

I bought my first BT200 (the parent to the 250) in December 2003. I lucked out because it has been the best purchase for a headset. The design is extraordinary, and I really don't understand why more companies aren't copying it. You can slide it on with one hand. Changing from left to right ear can... Read full review »

Jabra's done better than this

bykembry Dec 26, 2007

Pros A Jabra BT headset that FINALLY uses a mini-USB connection.
Cons It's not as good as the BT500 on any count.
Recommended it? No

I've been a longtime Jabra user and a big fan of the company. I was one of the first to get a Jabra corded headset that had the funky looking gel that fit your ear and had no discernible boom microphone. Then when they came out with the Bluetooth headsets, I was hooked. I got the BT100, BT250,... Read full review »
