The Bottom Line:
I would highly recommend the Britax Advocate to any of my friends because it is one of the safest and most durable car seats around.
I bought the Britax Advocate when my daughter outgrew her infant seat. I love how durable and safe this car seat is. I like the extra "air bags" on the side that provide additional protection. This seat is also padded which made my daughter much more content when we went on a 12 hour road trip. My daughter is so comfortable in this car seat that she falls asleep almost immediately when we put her in the car. I also love that it is a Britax - they are known for top safety in their car seats. The car seat is also very easy to install, I was able to install it in less then 5 minuetes while I was 6 months pregnant.
The only real downside to the car seat is that it is bulky. When my daughter was rear-facing we had to move up the seat that she was behind. The car seat also left marks in the passenger side head rest. However, I think that we could have avoided those marks if we put up the passenger seat a little more. Also, it is a bit difficult to adjust the seat straps. I'm not sure of too many car seats that are easy to adjust so this is expected.
Overall, its a great car seat that I would highly recommend.
