Liked it after I figured it out
Pros
Does a great job. Will cook for hours.

The coals 'ash up' and put themselves out in a fairly short span of time.

The Bottom Line:
Buy it, but take care...
As an experiment, I use the second grill to put the coals on. This took care of the problem with the coals and significantly stabilized the cooking temperature.
I ultimately made a grate for the bottom with expanded metal and some one inch legs which seems to have completely solved the problem I was having.
Some Brinkman grills do not have the separate coal section like this version. Coals can be lit within the cooker cylinder with no problem on these grills. DO NOT DO THAT WITH THIS VERSION. THE PAINT WILL PEEL OFF.
This grill should include a grate to raise the coals off the bottom of the pan so the ash has someplace to fall.
