Burn or fire.... it's this toasters speciality!
My wife and I searched for a new toaster for a long time because we wanted one with long slots for that great Italian bread and yet wide slots for bagels. Buyer Beware
Bought this toaster, thinking it would be perfect to toast my bread machine bread, wrong! Very uneven toasting, tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. I did send back the unit to Breville and they did return my money. Read full review »
Buy toaster & catcher's mitt...
This toaster has gotten fairly glowing reviews, online anyway.
I am a bit disappointed, however. My unit literally ejects toast, bagels and waffles out of the machine and onto the floor or behind the refrigerator.
Also, it tends to toast unevenly. You can see a light to dark...

I thought spending almost $100 on a toaster would get me a quality toaster as well as the good looks and the long wide slots I was looking for. I was completely wrong. Looks Better than it Works. Broke at 2-Year Mark.
Very expensive looking, but low quality for toasting. Was very surprised at how long it took to make toast when I first used it, especially since it looks like a high-end product. At the 2-Year mark, the lever won't stay down, no choice but to throw away due to very limited warranty.
