It looks nice, but...
I actually bought this cordless electric kettle by Breville after a salesman at Crate and Barrel convinced me that it is the "Cadillac" of all electric kettles. Cheaply made
Bought this kettle and when I took it out of the box, I found the stainless steel side was flawed with black in the grain of the metal. Forever to boil...and a hazard!
We liked the look of this and the functionality of the lid - which is easy to open. However, we found that the water took FOREVER to boil and would not shut off once a rolling boil was reached.
