Recommended with reservations.
Before purchasing the Breville Conical Burr Grinder Model BCG450XL, I was using a cheap Cuisinart blade type grinder for my coffee. Burr grinders are much more efficient at grinding coffee then blade types, but I’m not sure if this Breville model is the best choice.

Grind makes a difference
Only in the past 2 years have I jumped into the world of grinding my own coffee, previously I preferred to either buy pre ground coffee or just go to a local coffee shop. I found grinding your own beans gave quite a different taste in the coffee, it was always fresher.

Great for casual drinkers, tinkering yeilds better results for afficionados
