The Bottom Line:
Great grinder, get it!
After having several, ahem, difficulties, with other bean grinders, my husband and I decided to purchase this product. It was kind of a splurge for us so thank goodness it does such a good job.
It stores easily and has a small footprint, making it an ideal fit for out moderately sized kitchen. If you are lucky enough to have the counter space to leave it sit out each day, it is also very minimal in design and attractve.
The grinding is superb - with several settings, you may use the grounds for a french press, dripper or turkish preparation. The large plastic cup sits atop the machine and hold the beans, clicking into place and therefore selecting your grind size. With the push of a button, the machine whizzes away for the selected amount of time (10-30 seconds, chosen by easily turning a clearly marked knob). The grinds are then deposited into the plastic reservoir on the side of the machine, to be enjoyed by you immediately.
The only small issue we've had it that this is a little hard to clean, however, using a paintbrush to get the dry grounds out of the crevasses seems to do the trick nicely.
Overall this is a great product, certainly superior to it's less expensive counterparts.
