Breville 800GR Indoor Grill

We continue to marvel at what this grill/press/indoor BBQ can do. We have cooked steak, chicken, sandwiches, peppers, portabello mushrooms and ham steaks etc. Cooking is very fast with adjustable temperature setting from 350 to 450.

The grill comes with many features. As a press it can be sloped to drain off fat or adjusted to a flat cooking surface so that cheese does not run.

When opened, both top and bottom surfaces lay flat so you have double the cooking surface.

Another feature is that the top grill can be set at a variety of heights above the bottom plate instead of acting as a press. This is very good for cooking fish and other delicate foods.

Cleaning can be a little time consuming. I have found that wiping with a wet cloth and then turning the grill on again for a few seconds really seems to help clean everything up quickly. Only problem has been that sometimes the drips miss the drip tray. The grill folds, locks and stands upright for storage.
