No More Razors!!
Pros
Great results, reduces hair growth, lightens hair, lasts several weeks, interchangeable shaver head, spotlight.

I was hesitant to buy this Silk Epil due to a scary experience with and old school Epi-lady many years ago. But I was getting sick of shaving and waxing was too expensive and way too messy and time consuming to do at home. So I thought I'd re-visit the epilators after a few friends highly recommended it.
I read several reviews and decided on the Silk-Epil. I loved that it came with a shaver head and had a light on it.
Make no mistake about it, epilating IS painful! But it gets less and less painful as the hair follicles get weaker. The first time was rough but not nearly as bad as I expected. The Silk-Epil comes with a massaging head to supposedly reduce pain but I didn't notice all that much of a difference and it reduced the plucking area so it meant I had to epilate longer... I decided to go for more pain/shorter time.
I got great results. There were red spots for awhile afterwards but they faded within an hour or so. I've been epilating for about 9 months now and the red spots fade within 15 minutes now. The hair on my legs used to be dark and coarse now it is light and blonde. I can go weeks without epilating and while you can feel growth you can't see it at all.
I worked up the courage to use this on my armpits and this is PAINFUL. But I got great results. And now the regrowth is soft and much less and I can epilate my armpits in just a few minutes.
I use the shaver head to touch up if I want that 'smooth feel'.
Overall I'm very happy to no longer use razors. This has cut down on my shower time for sure!
