Buy it for the convenience and excellent quality shave!
I have been a user of Braun electric shavers for many years. The Synchro is certainly a step above any of the previous models that I have used.
The shave itself is excellent--closer than any I have ever had with an electric. Not sure if this is due to the vibrating head feature or the fact that the unit is (automatically) cleaned after every use.
The only down side is the need to replace the cleaning fluid. I have also found that the quality of the cleaning degrades prior to the unit signaling that the fluid cartridge must be replaced.
Overall, though, an excellent shaver!
