The Braun 7570 shaver works just fine - it does a especially good job on long hair (a 2-3 day beard) compared to previous Braun models. my first experience with an electric shaver was about 10 years ago, i believe it was a remington shaver, not sure though. i remember it did not cut well and it would pull my hairs more than cutting them, a very painful experience. since then i never held an electric shaver to my face again.
