Pretty good with a couple of weaknesses.
Pros
Good shave for an electric. Good battery/charge time. Innovative and easycleaning idea. Sturdy.
Cons
Not great on neck. Cleaning stand large and difficult to move. Pricy replacement cleaner cartridges.

The Bottom Line:
Aside from the size of the base and the expense (both initially and for cleaning solution), I think this is one of the best electric units that one can buy.
I've only owned the shaver for a few weeks and was fairly impressed right away. I've used an electric (both foil and rotary) in the past but have been using a mach 3 for over a year and a sensor excel for a year or so before that. I was unsure about going to an electric but have been reassured by this shaver. Although it is not as close as a razor, it is probably as close as you can get in an electric shaver. It does well on most hairs without having to go over the same area several times. it struggles on more difficult neck hairs but it still gets the job done. The unit charges relatively quickly and the charge seems to last for a while. The LCD screen is cool. The down sides are definitely found in the base. The cleaning cartridges are expensive and don't last long, the thing can't be tipped in the slightest unless you want a spill on your hands. Worst of all is the size of the base- I only pull it out when it's time for cleaning.
