The Bottom Line:
There are much less expensive shavers that you could buy, but the Braun Synchro 7570 is well worth the bucks.
I think that I am really hooked on Epinions. I am looking all over my house for my favorite products to write opinions on.
The one I picked today is my Braun Synchro 7570 Electric Shaver.
This is one of the greatest products that I own. It is a little more expensive than other shavers, but worth every penny. I actually got it on sale when mine died on a business trip, so it wasn't so bad.
The Braun comes in a very attractive carrying case, and is convenient to use, and travel with. I like the fact that there is only one cord for the shaver, and the Clean and Charge Holder. Of course you only need the cord for the shaver if you forget to charge it.
Speaking of charging it... Originally the shaver needed to be charged for 4 hours before it was functional. The charge last about an hour which is great, and needs recharged in the Clean and Charger Holder for about 75 minutes every few days. Of course you can also clean the shaver at the same time, so this isn't bad at all.
To operate the Clean and Charge Holder, you first press a button and install the cleaning cartridge. The Braun originally came with one cartridge and others can be purchased separately. The one thing I like about the cartridges is that they are not hard to find. Most department stores carry them. The shaver is inserted, and you choose clean, charge, or clean and charge with the push of another button. The Clean and Charge Holder also has a display which lets you know when the cleaning cartridge needs changed. This allows me not to run out while on a business trip, a great plus to me.
The shaver takes only about 15 minutes to clean, and as I said about 75 minutes to charge. These can be done at the same time. Talk about multi-tasking.
The shave I get is wonderful. My grandson loves to run his hands over my freshly shaven face. So does my wife. I am not one of those guys who needs to shave twice a day, but I think this shaver would even work wonderfully for those kinds of guys.
This is one of the best purchases I have made, and I did it all by myself. Boy, was my wife impressed.
But seriously, if you are looking for a shaver, there are less expensive brands, but they do not seem to last or work as well. I will stick with my Braun.
