Just doesn't get any better (yet)
Pros
Super close shave, great battery life, auto clean works great!
Cons
Cleaner is a little noisy
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Highly recommended, close shave from a well built product.
I received this razor and cleaning unit as a gift, my previous razor was a Panasonic "Smooth Operator".
The Braun gives me a closer shave, a quicker shave with no missed whiskers.
When you first get the razor you charge it for 4 hours then discharge the battery completely (over the course of normal shaving) before charging it the first time. I went 15 days without charging the razor, it still had 8 minutes left!
The cleaner works very well, takes 15 minutes to complete it's cycle. When you "dock" your razor in the stand you can choose to do nothing with it, just clean it or clean and charge it.
It comes with a nice leather travel case with a brush for manual cleaning of the razor.
The LCD display tells you battery life, time of last shave and the replacement head and foil part numbers. When docked, the LCD still displays so the user can read it (even though the razor is upside down) and displays cleaning time left and charging time left.
This is my first Braun razor, I'm very impressed. Bought mine at Bloomingdales in MN for $155 (had a 15% off coupon) and they double the manufacturers warranty for free (so now I have a 4 year warranty instead of 2).
