It's been a long time since I have written so please forgive me if I am a little rusty.
I have been struggling with electric shaver's for most of my adult life. Not sure if it is me or just the quality of shaver I have owned in the past or if it is my face, but I think I have finally solved the problem. The Braun Synchro is a miracle worker for me. It may cost twice as much as most shaver's but it is 3 times better then any one I have used. I first ran across it at a friends house while on vacation. I am always looking for free demo's. LOL The first time I used it I could tell I was going to be buying one soon. It was by far the closest quickest shave I have ever gotten from an electric shaver. Although I was a little shocked at the price at first(cheapskate). I eventually bit the bullet and bought one 6 months later and I am oh so happy I did.
The Braun Synchro not only gives a great close shave but it looks much nicer then my old one too. It is very stylish is shape and color. It comes with a cleaner and charger that look real sharp together. I have been fooled by appearances before but this bad boy is the whole package.
My favorite thing of all is that it can be fully charged in under 1 hour, usually 15 minutes and its good to o. Unfortunately it is now my roommates favorite shaver too so we need quick charges a lot and that comes in real handy on a Friday night.LOL
It also has the little trimmer that I use on my sideburns almost on a daily basis. That feature also seems to work much better then any other one I have encountered. I believe the reason for such a great shave is the holes in the foil are much larger then most shavers. The motor in this thing could probably run a little car too....
I have to shave daily and get a close shave every time due to the business I am in. I was to the point where I had to use a regular razor blade with shaving cream 2 or 3 times a week and my electric razor the rest of the time just to keep it close. Now I use only my Braun Electric Shaver and when I have a few days off in a row(god forbid) and I don't shave I still don't have to break out the razor blade. I just use the trimmer and then the foil part and bahdahbing bahdahbang I am in good to go.
Probably the feature I needed least which I am sure added to the cost is the LCD Panel that tells you how much charge time is remaining and cleaning time. Although i am sure many people may need the while travelling but I don"t shave while on vacation(speaking of which I am way over due) so I really don't have much use for this feature, except once again it adds to the appearance.
The little cleaner is nice though. After every use it is clean and dried automatically. Sometimes the old shave would get pretty bad and I would spend 20 or 30 minutes cleaning it good with alcohol.
All in all I am very pleased with my purchase and if it can last me 5 years or longer I will be very happy. If you can afford it or you have a hard to shave face like myself then this is the shaver for you.
