Braun Büffel Syncro 7570

I received this shaver as a Christmas gift from my wife. In that time, I have had the opportunity to put it through its paces and overall I think it is a great product. The manual is cryptic to say the least! You are better off just setting it up yourself rather than try to decipher the information in the multiple booklets that comprise the manual. Once setup and fully charged (a full charge takes a couple of hours) the shaver really provides a close comfortable shave. I've noticed that once the power meter drops below 50% the performance drops off as well and I go ahead and recharge the unit. I find that the charge lasts about a week. From your jaw line up this shaver is absolutely the closest, most comfortable best shave ever from an electric razor. From the jaw line down, it is merely adequate. I don?t know if it just me, but I find that I spent about 75% of my overall shaving time in this area.

Some people argue that the cost of the cartridges is high, which I tend to agree with, but this is offset by having a clean pleasant smelling (lemon scent) shaver for each and every shave. In the four+ months I have been using this product I have replaced the cartridge twice so at this rate that would be six cartridges a year at $5 each for a total of $30 year. Razor blades would probably cost at least twice that much, and you have to deal with all of the cuts and mess - I think this is the way to go.

This model comes with a travel case, but because of the size of the base unit and the fact that it contains the liquid cleaner in it, you really can?t take the charger/cleaner with you which is somewhat of an inconvenience. But again you should be able to get 1 to 1 - 1/2 weeks use out of it on a full charge.
