Almost worth your money
Pros
The best electric shaver I owned, but not a perfect choice
Cons
The cleaner does not really clean well, impossible to travel with it.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
The Braun Syncro is probably the best shaver you can buy.The cleaning gadget is not really good and I would buy it without this option.
This is the best electric shaver I ever had and I shave with electric razors for 40 years.I had them all from
Sunbeam through Phillips,Remington and most of the Braun models for the past 30 years. It shaves real
well, quite close and reasonably fast.It is by no means perfect.I bought it when it was relatively new on the market
and paid quite a high price.
The cleaning unit is cumbersome and does not clean really well. Some hair always remain.Lately I do not wait for the warning light to come on,I change the cartridge after about 25-27 days but it does not really help.I decided
that after I run out from my latest stock of cartridges to switch over to manual cleaning.
If you disregard the cleaning unit and buy a cheaper model of the same shaver without "self cleaning" you
probably make a very good buy.
It is nearly impossible to travel with it and I take my earlier model Braun 6550 with me when traveling.
