Braun PowerMax MX 2050 5-Speed Blender

I purchased this blender through a rewards program thinking it would be a great product, after all I have purchased Braun products before and have been very satisfied with Braun quality and performance. The Blender performed really well while it worked. I make frozen smoothies on almost a daily basis (for health) and you would think that a machine made by Braun could handle the task well. It did handle the tasks well, but after a month of use, the motor completely ceased. Also the plastic drive assembly on the blade and machine are cheap and very breakable plastic. This machine looks attractive, but don't let this fool you. Braun has been incorporating more and more cheap plastic into their products each year and too much is too much. This product just does not stand up.

I phoned Braun customer care and they told me that I had to deal with the rewards program that I purchased the blender through (I cased in my airmiles). I called Airmiles, and they told me I had to deal with Braun. I just said forget it and I bought a new machine, this time the most expensive Oster with all the bells and whistles. Big mistake there, it broke within 2 days.

I finally purchased a Cuisinart Blender and have had it for over 2 years with no problems.
