I considered buying this based primarily on a Consumer Reports recommendation. I also read reviews on Amazon and here. Most were positive however, there was some concern about a flimsy plastic assembly of cutting blade.
I am glad to report that it has worked out pretty well for it. We have had it now for almost a year and we love it.
