Inexpensive, Utilitarian Shaving
Pros
Inexpensive, rechargable battery, good shaving performance.
Cons
Not as close as a razor, but not as irritating to your skin either.

The Bottom Line:
You probably won't find a better inexpensive electric shaver on the market today.
The Braun Interface 3612 Electric Shaver is not very expensive, but it seems to works as well as most other electric shavers I have used in the past. I have owned mine for more than three years and it keeps on working. The last Braun I lost on a business trip, probably in a rental car (I tend to shave on my way to meetings or during long commutes in order to save time).
I don't have the heaviest beard, and I use the Braun daily. About once a month I use a blade/razor to get a clean shave. The Braun I have has 3 year old blades, but the shave isn't bad (not quite as good as a new shaver). A traditional blade razor will always cut more and lengthen the time before the "5:00PM" shadow occurs, but these days this look is somewhat acceptable in many circles, so I don't worry about it. If I need another shave, I keep the Braun in my car, and use it on my commute home, or next customer commute.
The razor has a "side burn" trimmer, and an extra cutter to try to lift those uncooperative hairs up so they all can be cut. The feature seems to work quite well.
The shaver is rechargable, and can even be used plugged in when the battery is dead (a good feature). I see no reason to spend more, or change brands as the Braun has worked well for me over the years. It certainly works much better, and much longer than the Remmington models I have owned.
I tried the Braun model because I was fed up with my other American Brands, and was ready try another brand. I was not, however, ready to spend a big chunk of change. I was very pleasantly surprised by the performance of the Braun Interface 3612 Electric Shaver.
