Good basic inexpensive razor, not the closest shave.
Pros
Inexpensive. comfortable shave. Charges quick.
Cons
Not a close shave. Still misses hairs. Trimmer hard to use.

The Bottom Line:
I recommend this for a quick easy and comfortable shave. If you are looking for closer shave this might not be for you.
I have been using this for only one week so I may have a different opinion later after a while esp if the foil wears out quickly like it has for others here.
I have a thick heavy beard with side burns and a goatee. I have been swapping to and from blades and electrics for over 25 years now.
I find blades are best... Sensor and Mach 3 are great but they take longer to shave and the blades cost a fortune and only last a week each for me.
I used Norelco rotarys for years until they came out with the 'lift and cut' design which should be called 'pull and hack' so I would get a nasty rash on my neck every time.
This Braun razor is quick and effective. Most foil types miss too many hairs but I found that using the combination feature here does help a bit though I do still go over many spots several times. I think it could be improved by using the new foil mesh design found in the new Braun high end shavers.
This Braun does not shave as close as blade, of course, nor does it shave as close as a rotary but it is comfortable and no rashes. I like the NiMH batteries that do change quick and discharge slower. Trimmer is hard to see when using.
