Maybe OK For Peach Fuzz

poor quality shave, expensive replacement parts

This razor was a gift I received a few years ago. In all my years of shaving, I have pretty much been a razor blade and shaving cream kind of guy. I use an electric razor from time to time, but it's not a habit.
To start with, this razor is simply not a good product. Rotary head razors seem to be superior because you can get a closer shave and the rotary heads work in sync. The cutters of the Braun have never given me a close shave even when I have used pre-electric lotion.
A positive thing about this razor is that it's dual voltage and that's important for travelers like me. The batteries also last a long time when charged, but maybe that's due to infrequent use.
Last time I was in the states, I thought that I should buy new cutters for my razor. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I couldn't buy just the cutters; I had to buy the screen as well. After going back to the hotel and replacing the cutters and screen, I was just as disappointed as before.
Maybe this razor is good if you don't have a very tough beard, but it sure doesn't do much for me. My next choice for electric razor surely won't be this one.
