Pros Great workout; nice console, safer than many pieces of equipment.
Cons The way the resistance changes is a deal breaker for me.
Recommended it? No

The Bowflex TreadClimbers look wonderful. Bowflex makes three models of TreadClimbers. I have reviewed the TC1000. I am now reviewing the next step up, the TC3000. Stay tuned for the top of the line TreadClimber and then my comparison of them. Because of the nature of these reviews there will be... Read full review »

Pros Space saver
Cons LOUD, breaks easily, poor construction, customer service needs to get their act together.
Recommended it? No

Beware before you buy any of their treadclimbers. I bought the TC3000 in Oct of 05. Got it home, assembled it, and it rocked from side to side when I used it. Mind you I am only 5'4 120lbs. So they replaced some parts on it no problems, then the hydrolics broke, then a bolt snapped, then the foot... Read full review »

Pros Great workout, space saving design
Cons not high quality for the money, loud
Recommended it? No

We purchased this product because several years ago we owned a Reebok Elliptical and had a lot of problems with it and ended up returning it. This time, we thought we'd try something new, and the ads stated that the treadclimber burns more calories etc, than an elliptical. We didn't have a lot of... Read full review »

Pros Excellent machine, easy to use.
Cons Pricey and very heavy
Recommended it? Yes

We bought the Treadclimber TC5000 after several other pieces of equipment, including a treadmill; a rowing machine; a total gym; an ab lounger; and lastly a Gazelle Freestyle. These soon became lawn sale items, eBay and/or laundry hangars. We are both late 40's (one of us later than the other);... Read full review »

Cons max speed limited to 4 mph, cant run on this machine

You have to think seriously before you buy this expensive machine. I bought it mainly for my wife, it was a gift. She absolutely loves it and that makes me happy.

I also was planning to use it myself because it looks so cool on TV. To tell ya honestly if you at least a little bit athletic... Read full review »

Pros It is simple to use.  It gives me a good workout.
Cons Doesn't go faster than 4.0 mph.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased mine after it had been on the market for a while.  I got mine used from a lady who wanted a treadmill instead of a treadclimber.  Her reason for selling it was that it does not go over 4.0 mph.  Other than it is expensive if you get a brand new one, if you can find a used... I would recommend that people NEVER buy this machine!!! I had mine for about 25 days, used it about 15 times and made 1 payment on it and it died! They told me i needed a new computer board and that it would take 4-6 weeks to get it, They told me i was still with in my 30 days and i could return it... Read full review »
