Boston Acoustics 6.5 System 6.5" Car Component System

I replaced my stock car speakers with a pair of Rally's last year after hearing them in a friends car. I've been quite pleased with them since then. The highs are clean, clear and bright with just a touch of sibilance, as I like them to be.

Because the woofers are 6 1/2" the bass response is acceptable and helps the illusion that the subs are up front, with smaller woofers up front it starts to become to easy to hear that the subs are at the back.

I am currently just running these up front and 2 12" JL subs in back, no rear fill or centre channel.

In any car stereo speaker install you have to remember that most of the effect on the sound is going to come from the install and the layout of the car itself, any speaker you listen to in the store is going to sound quite different in the actual vehicle.
