Let me say one thing about Boston Acoustic speakers...They're Awesome!
There are very few brands of speakers that actually get my respect and Boston's are one of the few that do! They are very clear and accurate to a T. Very few speakers can achieve this. The subs are tight and do not drag at all! They have a huge magnet to assist in the process. The crossover system is just perfect. These speakers played perfectly and were on axis due to the ability to adjust the tweeters. Since Bass has no directional value whatsoever it really doesn't matter where they're located.
You definitely do not need to aim the woofers right at you. The Mid's as well are very very accurate and do not seem to cross over either the high range or low range which is good unlike most speakers that do crossover which can cause problems. These speakers do carry a high pricetag, but they are well worth it due to the fact that they are probably one of the best made speaker brands ever...
I'd also like to add that most winners in the IASCA competition, which is the toughest sound competition to win in, have used Boston Acoustics products in their systems. Trust me when I say, buy this product and you can't go wrong!
