Worth Every Penny!...

Cons hard on your wallet

...that is if you have that many pennies. when i first heard this radio, i was so completely stunned that i immediately wanted one for myself. unfortunately, the one i heard was not mine but it's ok since i get to hear it whenever i want. the thing is just as big as any other clock radio (i have the version w/out cd player which is about the same size anyway) but it's sound is better than that of the most expensive home theatre system i've ever heard. i don't know how to describe the sound except that it completely fills the room that the radio is in as if your are actually in a concert hall or having a person to person conversation with the radio. i guess you could say that it gives the sound more dimension (???). but anyway, it sounds terrific. when you listen to normal speakers, or at least when i did, i thought that the sound was fine and pretty much as good as it gets. but then, when i heard the bose, i couldn't believe it. it's like living in the 50's and thinking that black and white tv on those 10 inch fish-bowl tv's is plenty good and then seeing a 64" flat-screen HTDV. well that's the best i can explain this radio.

aside from the sound, it has been very dependable, well made, has audio in jacks for adding a cd, tape, computer, or whatever and getting the sound out of its fantastic speakers. i also like the little weightless credit card style remote. so if you have the money and you love great music, get this radio now! i suggest finding a bose store to make sure. there you can hear all of they're speakers, radios, etc and find out for yourself.
