Love it or Hate it

Pros Sound, Operation, Look
Cons Remote, Price (Radio/Attachments), Features
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Great sound and mystic, has a few limitations as far as features but the small size fits us perfectly.
I would buy it again. I like many reviewers have debated for years about releasing the significant funds for a Wave radio. Is it truly worth it? I for one say yes. After reading an endless number of reviews my wife and I bought one in the hope that we could avoid a large sound system in our small living room but provide enjoyable sound throughout the living/dining room/kitchen. We got exactly what we wanted. From the living room deep rich tones filter throughout the rooms with the air of a much larger stereo but occupies very little space.
We own several other Bose products and are satisfied with the all and the phrase, "you get what you pay for" certainly applies. This isn't to say the radio is perfect, single CD player, no sound adjustments, 6 channel presets are limiting factors but where not central to our choice (for that we have a larger stereo in the den) and an external MP3 Player connected to the radio helps with music selection. The remote works well but the size makes it prone to loss and I believe the thin metal coating on the buttons will wear significantly in time.
In summary, while expensive the sound and size provide an exact fit for us and I would recommend but as with anything consider what features are most important
