no regrets on this headset
Pros
great for air travel, at the gym, very restful
Cons
looks a bit goofy, my husband steals them from me
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
worth the money, comfortable, effective. what a great technology.
i travel maybe 6 airline flights a year, and also use them at the gym 2-3x/wk. i've had them for 2-3 yrs and still haven't had to change the battery.
the noise cancellation only works for the low frequency sounds, like the airplane or equipment engines. so you can still hear the flight attendant asking what you want to drink. but what a difference it makes.
you especially notice it when you've been wearing it for a couple of hours and they tell you to turn off electronic equipment in preparation for landing. what a loud rush of engine noise! absolutely much more rested after a flight using these. it's amazing how much the fatigue of traveling is due to noise.
i haven't tried other types, but i think the major difference is the comfort of the earphones. these have a very luxurious padding around the ears, so your outer ear never hurts. it does look a bit goofy, but it's a small price to pay.
