Great System

Lifestyle Bose 38

Very good system but a few GLARING drawback
The system is very good in terms of sound. Standard CDs churn out very impressive surround sound, with its own 'Bose Sound Stage' decoding. Goes without saying for DVDs.

Not For Jazz
Do not buy this system if you intend to store and listen to jazz CD's. Unlike my ancient CD changer, the Bose system has no way of compensating for different volume output levels on CD's. Great system!! May not be for everyone.
Remote: Excellent remote.
Media Center: Holds alot of songs however, older song will not be recognized when you store them so you will have to enter the titles by hand. What a hassle. Does not import MP3 only CD's. What happens if my system crashes? Do I have to reinstall the entire 200 hours...

Frustration
Love the sound but I've had problems even the Bose tech support, and tech guys as Best Buy can't figure out. Seems to be some compatibility problem with the V2 module.
