The word BOSE should say it all... (a simple review)
Pros
Amazing sound! Excellent battery charge, simple, small, portable, and it charges my IPod.
Cons
Cost! It will take a while to save your pennies, but worth it.

The Bottom Line:
Excellent sound quality. Perfect for everyday use. It is not a fancy surround sound...but the quality is NICE! If you love music this is a must have.
The 1st time I ever experienced Bose sound was ten years ago in Park City, Utah at the outlet store. I thought to myself..."What is the big deal about Bose, and why are they so insanely expensive!" Well, I listened to the demo, was amazed by the sound quality in something so small, and simply had to own a Bose at some point in my life. Ten years later I saw that Circuit City was selling their Bose SoundDock floor model for $150.00. I snatched that Bose, held it like a Running back football player would hold a football... and made a mad dash to the check out counter!
This Bose SoundDocker is amazing! It is small, sleek, and black. It fits perfectly on my kitchen counter, and you don't really notice that it is there. The ac adaptor has a nice feature, it wraps the cord around itself. You never have extra electrical cord hanging out on your counter. Nice clean look.
There are many things that I like about the Bose SoundDock. This docker is super easy to use. You can plug it in, or run it on the lithium battery. You lightly push on the swivel and it opens to reveal where you place your IPod or IPhone. It turns your IPod on and you can choose what music or movie you want to hear or watch. On the right side of the Bose SoundDock you will find the volume buttons. You simply touch up or down for the volume. Included is a remote that will change the volume, tracks, albums, playlists as well as power off the SoundDocker if you desire. I have a pretty decent size kitchen. 15'x27' to be exact. That remote will work clear across that kitchen & into my family room next to it. Perfect for when you don't want to get up off the couch to make adjustments. The lithium rechargeable battery will last at least 6-7 hours. This makes it nice when you are working outside, or sitting in a hot tub watching a movie on it! It has a place to put your hand on the back to conveniently carry it anywhere you want. The small size of this Bose allows you to easily fit it into any small gym bag. I know that you can purchase the official carrying bag, but I am not sure what the price is for that. The Bose SoundDock has a Aux input. You can run the Aux cord from the TV or VCR/DVD into the SoundDock. This allows our family to play "Guitar Hero" and enjoy better sound. This is a nice feature because you can also use it with your computer and mp3 players. When it is connected right you will experience the same sound quality as when you are using your IPod. You might have to play around with this...my husband is the technical person in our house. It works for him.
The sound quality is amazing! This SoundDock is small, but it puts out a powerful punch! I have listened to this Bose SoundDock on all levels of volume. It has a fantastic sound on low, medium, and high sound. However, when you turn the volume all the way up the sound quality isn't quite as good. The treble is louder and the bass is more softened. The sound difference is not enough for me to really be disappointed with.
I play the piano and have been a dancer for over 20 years. When I play one of my favorite songs on the Bose SoundDock, I can "feel" the music. I love it. I would like to own a surround sound Bose Lifestyles Home theater. Maybe perhaps in another 10 years...
